শিক্ষার্থীদের মূল্যায়ন সংক্রান্ত নির্দেশনাবলী / Guidelines Regarding Evaluation

Classes V to VIII (CCE System)

বর্তমানে RTE Act 2009 অনুযায়ী শিক্ষার্থীদের Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE) বা নিরবচ্ছিন্ন সার্বিক মূল্যায়ন করা হয়। এখানে দেখা হয়, শিক্ষার্থী বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে ধারণা গঠনে সক্ষম কিনা এবং যেটুকু শিখেছে তা প্রয়োগ করতে পারছে কিনা। CCE হল সমগ্র শিক্ষাবর্ষ ধরে শিক্ষার্থীর সার্বিক বিকাশের ধারাবাহিক পর্যবেক্ষণ ও নথিবদ্ধকরণ। বর্তমানে পঞ্চম শ্রেণি থেকে অষ্টম শ্রেণি পর্যন্ত পাঠ্যক্রমে শিক্ষার্থীদের Formative (প্রস্তুতিকালীন) ও Summative (পর্যায়ক্রমিক) এই দুধরনের মূল্যায়নের ব্যবস্থা আছে।

প্রস্তুতিকালীন মূল্যায়ন (Formative Evaluation): ২০২৬ শিক্ষাবর্ষ থেকে প্রস্তুতিকালীন মূল্যায়নের একটু পরিবর্তন হয়েছে। প্রথম পর্বে (1st Formative Phase) তিনটি F1A, F1B ও F1C যথাক্রমে জানুয়ারি, ফেব্রুয়ারি ও মার্চ মাসের তৃতীয় সপ্তাহে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। একইভাবে দ্বিতীয় পর্বে (2nd Formative Phase) তিনটি F2A, F2B ও F2C যথাক্রমে মে, জুন ও জুলাই মাসের তৃতীয় সপ্তাহে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। ঠিক তেমনি তৃতীয় পর্বে (3rd Formative Phase) সেপ্টেম্বর, অক্টোবর ও নভেম্বর মাসের তৃতীয় সপ্তাহে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। প্রয়োজনে পরিবর্তনও হতে পারে।

পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়ন (Summative Evaluation): একটি শিক্ষাবর্ষে তিন বার পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়নের ব্যবস্থা আছে। সাধারণত প্রথম পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়ন এপ্রিল মাসে, দ্বিতীয়টি জুলাই মাসের শেষ থেকে আগস্টের প্রথম সপ্তাহের মধ্যে এবং তৃতীয়টি নভেম্বরের শেষ সপ্তাহের মধ্যে অনুষ্ঠিত হবে। তবে, শিক্ষা দপ্তরের বা পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মধ্যশিক্ষা পর্ষদের নির্দেশানুযায়ী তা পরিবর্তিত হতে পারে।

In accordance with the RTE Act 2009, students are currently assessed through Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE). This system evaluates whether a student is capable of forming concepts in various subjects and applying what they have learned. CCE involves continuous observation and documentation of the student’s holistic development throughout the academic year. Currently, the curriculum from Class V to Class VIII features two types of assessments: Formative and Summative Evaluation.

Formative Evaluation: There has been a slight revision in the formative evaluation schedule starting from the 2026 academic year. The 1st Formative Phase consisting of three parts (F1A, F1B, and F1C) will be conducted in the third week of January, February, and March respectively. Similarly, the 2nd Formative Phase (F2A, F2B, and F2C) will take place in the third week of May, June, and July. The 3rd Formative Phase will be conducted in the third week of September, October, and November. These timelines may be changed if necessary.

Summative Evaluation: Summative evaluations are conducted three times in an academic year. Generally, the first evaluation takes place in April, the second between the end of July and the first week of August, and the third by the final week of November. However, dates are subject to modification based on directives from the Education Department or the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

Classes IX and X

পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মধ্যশিক্ষা পর্ষদের নির্দেশানুযায়ী এই দুই শ্রেণিতে অন্তর্বর্তী প্রস্তুতিকালীন মূল্যায়ন (Internal Formative Evaluation) ও পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়ন (Summative Evaluation) এই দুই ধরণের মূল্যায়ন হয়। তিনটি পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়ন হবে। প্রথম ও দ্বিতীয় পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়নের মান প্রতিটি বিষয়ে ৪০ করে এবং তৃতীয় পর্যায়ক্রমিক মূল্যায়নের মান প্রতিটি বিষয়ে ৯০ করে।

Per the guidelines of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, students of these two classes undergo both Internal Formative Evaluation and Summative Evaluation. There are three summative evaluations in total. The first and second summative evaluations carry 40 marks each per subject, while the third summative evaluation carries 90 marks per subject.
