বিদ্যালয়ের আধুনিক পরিকাঠামো ও উন্নয়ন
শিক্ষার্থীদের সার্বিক নিরাপত্তা প্রদানের ও শৃঙ্খলা রক্ষার জন্য Comprehensive School Safety and Security প্রকল্পে C.C.T.V. installation হয়েছে, বিদ্যালয়ের প্রবেশদ্বারকে নতুনভাবে তৈরি করা হয়েছে, লাইব্রেরির জন্য প্রচুর বই কেনা হয়েছে, কেনা হয়েছে খেলাধুলার প্রয়োজনীয় সামগ্রী। ল্যাবরেটরীর জন্য প্রায় লক্ষাধিক টাকার সামগ্রী ধাপে ধাপে ক্রয় করা হয়েছে, পরিশ্রুত পানীয় জলের ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে এবং তা আরও অধিক সংখ্যায় করার চেষ্টা করা হচ্ছে। কম্পিউটার ল্যাবকে আধুনিকীকরণের চেষ্টা করা হয়েছে। Mini Science Lab ও Tinkering Lab চালু করা হয়েছে। বিদ্যালয়কে আংশিকভাবে রঙ করা হয়েছে, সর্বোপরি বিদ্যালয়ের পড়াশোনার পরিবেশকে সুন্দর রাখার জন্য সামর্থ্যমত নিয়মিত বিদ্যালয়কে পরিচ্ছন্ন রাখা ও উন্নত মানের মিড-ডে মিল চালু রাখার চেষ্টা চালিয়ে যাওয়া হচ্ছে। Smart Classroom / Smart Board এর ব্যবস্থা করা হয়েছে। ইতিমধ্যে এলাকার মাননীয় বিধায়ক দেবব্রত মজুমদারের ২,০০,০০০/- টাকা অর্থানুকূল্যে চারটি কম্পিউটার ও আনুষঙ্গিক সরঞ্জাম কেনা হয়েছে। তাঁকে অশেষ ধন্যবাদ ও কৃতজ্ঞতা জানাই। তপশিলী জাতি, উপজাতি ও অন্যান্য অনগ্রসর শ্রেণির ছাত্রবৃত্তির জন্য বিদ্যালয় সর্বদা সচেষ্ট।
এখনও অনেক কাজ বাকি। ধীরে ধীরে শিক্ষা দপ্তর থেকে কিছু কিছু প্রকল্পের অনুমোদন মিলছে ও কিছু প্রকল্প অনুমোদনের অপেক্ষায়। বিদ্যালয়ের HS Section কে Co-educational করার জন্য DIS (SE), Kol এর নিকট Inspection আবেদন করলেও এখনও হয়নি। ফলে HS Section এ Co-education চালু করা যায়নি, তবে চেষ্টা চলছে।
শুভ কাজে বাধা বেশি আসে। জানি, ক্ষমতা যতই সীমিত হোক, সদিচ্ছা থাকলে অনেক কিছুই সম্ভব। চাই সম্মিলিত উদ্যোগ আর ছাত্র দরদী মন। আমি বিশ্বাস করি, “We shall overcome some day”। ধন্যবাদ জানাই সকল শুভানুধ্যায়ীদের।
Infrastructure & Development
For the overall safety and discipline of the students, C.C.T.V. cameras have been installed under the Comprehensive School Safety and Security project. The school main gate has been reconstructed, a vast collection of books has been added to the library, and essential sports equipment has been purchased. Laboratory equipment worth over one lakh rupees has been procured in phases, and purified drinking water facilities have been installed, with efforts ongoing to expand them further. The computer lab is being modernized, and a Mini Science Lab along with a Tinkering Lab has been launched. The school building has been partially repainted. Above all, to maintain a beautiful academic environment, utmost care is taken to regularly clean the campus and provide high-quality Mid-Day Meals. Smart Classrooms and Smart Boards have also been introduced. Additionally, four computers and related accessories were recently purchased through a grant of ₹2,00,000/- provided by the honorable local MLA, Debabrata Majumdar. We extend our heartfelt thanks and gratitude to him. The school remains highly proactive in ensuring scholarships reach SC, ST, and OBC students.
A lot of work remains to be done. Approvals for several new projects are gradually coming in from the Education Department, while others are awaiting authorization. Although an inspection request was submitted to the DIS (SE), Kolkata, to convert the Higher Secondary (HS) section into a co-educational system, it has not materialized yet. Consequently, co-education in the HS section could not be introduced this term, but efforts are continually underway.
Obstacles often arise in noble endeavors. I know that no matter how limited resources are, everything is possible if there is genuine goodwill. What we need is collective initiative and a heart dedicated to the welfare of the students. I firmly believe, “We shall overcome someday.” Thank you to all well-wishers.
